Thanks to all the great people we've got today, some of the stories behind this Photoshop and the history of Photoshop.

Hope everybody on this site also had a great day. December is one of the most important months in our national history. To be clear, December is the month of our victory. And I started writing today's tune by greeting everyone.

Graphic designers basically do their design work in all three programs. Among them, Adobe Photoshop is the world's best program for image editing. Adobe Illustrator, on the other hand, is used extensively for vector-based design, adobe indigenous printing and press projects.

Today is just a discussion of Adobe Photoshop. We all love Photoshop because from professional designers to photographers and even those who do photo editing as a hobby, they do their work with Photoshop. Photoshop is very easy to use, the tools are neatly arranged and almost everything that needs to be done to make a design dazzling is in Photoshop. That's why Photoshop is so popular with designers and photographers.

But while it may sound a bit bad, it is true that many of us do not know the history of Photoshop from its inception to the present day. And today's article to know this unknown subject. We can turn the discussion around and say it this way

"Today we will learn more about the great people who got Photoshop."

Let's not know who that great person is

Thomas Knoll is a software engineer by profession. Born in Michigan, USA, he graduated from the University of Michigan. His brother Jhon Knoll is a visual effects supervisor by profession. Their father, Glen Knoll, was a professor at the University of Michigan.

The time is 198. Then Thomas Knoll was a Phd student. He developed a graphic application for Macintosh Plus. This application was used to show black and white pictures on one color screen. Knoll named it Display. This display application is basically called the father of photoshop.

Thomas Knoll's brother Jhon Knoll watched the program. Jhon Knoll was very interested in the photo. Jhon persuaded his brother Tom to create a photo editing program. Then Thomas Knoll took a 6-month break from his current academic life to create a photo editing program he wanted to name Image pro. But due to the complexity of copyright, we got the first version of Photoshop 0.6 instead of that name I haven't seen the two brothers.

Early versions of Photoshop:

Photoshop 1.0 >>

After the purchase of the ADB Corporation Photoshop program in September 1989, its features underwent major changes. On February 1, 1990, Photoshop version 1.0 with digital color editing and image retouching was released. It was launched for use on high-end platforms like Sci-Tex and cost ret 300 for a standard photo retouching.

Photoshop 2.0 >>

On June 1, 1990, Photoshop version 2.0 was released, adding new features. This version includes important features like adding Paths, CMYK color and the Pen tool.

In November 1990, Photoshop 2.5 was first released to run on the Windows operating system. This version adds palettes to Photoshop.

Photoshop 3.0 was released in 1994. Photoshop layer panels are added to this version. Adding this layer makes the work of designers much easier. Many complex issues become easier. In fact, everything is possible for Thomas Knoll.

Photoshop 4.0 >>

Photoshop 4.0, the next version of Photoshop, was released almost two years later. Adjustment layer and macro features are added to this version. Also the user interface of Photoshop is added to this version. Think about how much trouble we still have to put a watermark on an image if the developers did not work tirelessly.

Photoshop 5.0 >>

Version 5.0 of Photoshop was released on May 1, 1997. Editing type, Undo command, History panel, Magnetic lasso tool etc. features are introduced in this version. How easy it is to do some things in image editing after the release of this version. Then only 1 year later Photoshop 5.5 was released. The Save for web feature is added to this version. At the same time, you can also export images in PNG format.

Photoshop 7.0 >>

Photoshop 8.0 was released at the very end of the twentieth century. Features like vector shape, type tool, blending option etc. are added in this version. In this version, typing tools have become easier. Blending mode is perfect in this version to give a dazzling effect.

Photoshop 7.0 >>

Exactly 2 years after the release of Photoshop 6.0, the most popular and widely used version of Photoshop 6.0 is released. File browsers, brushes and patch tools are added to this version to easily browse files and folders. This is the full version of Photoshop. Even today, many famous designers work in Photoshop 8.0.

Photoshop Creative Studio (CS 8.0) >>
Since the development of Photoshop is an ongoing process. Developers are working tirelessly to add new features. In 2003, Photoshop 7.0 (CS) released Photoshop, adding everything the designers needed, a layout feature in graphic design, and everything in photography. Features like script, language, grouping of layers etc. are added to it. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation.

Photoshop CS2 >>

Photoshop CS2 version was released in 2005. This version comes with features like Red-eye removal tool, Vanishing point tool, Smart object without any loss of quality. Really thank every member of the developer team.

Photoshop CS 3.0 >>

After the release of Photoshop CS 3.0 in 2006, we saw a revolutionary change in this software. There is a huge change in the tools. Its navigation process makes working in Photoshop even faster. This version adds great features like Camera R and Quick Selection Tool.

Photoshop CS4 >>

In 2008, the new version of Photoshop CS4 came. Panning, Zooming, Masking, Adjustment panel features in this version to make the designer work faster and more amazing by modernizing the features.

Photoshop CS5 >>

Photoshop CS5 was released in 2010. This version includes Puppet Warp Tool, Bristle tips, Mixer Brush and Automatic Lens correction. The masking feature is further updated in this version.

Photoshop CS6 >>

On May 6, 2012, the widely circulated Photoshop CS6 was released. We got a completely new user interface in this version. So that it is possible to adjust the color as per one's convenience. Auto saving, patch tool, move tool, blur gallery, vector shape with dash and dotted stroke etc. have been newly added. In other words, everything needed to complete Photoshop has been done in this version. Creating videos and animations has become much easier since this version came out.

Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC) >>

I couldn't take the fun of Photoshop CS6 completely. Photoshop creative cloud (CC) is the latest version of Photoshop. It aims to reduce software piracy so that ADB companies can reduce their costs. That is why they have kept the opportunity / service for users to use it from ADB in exchange for some money.

Incredible features like Smart sharpen and Camera sharp reduction have been added to this version.

If we look back a little from the above discussion, we will see that the modern version of what started with Display in the joint efforts of Thomas Knoll and Jhon Knoll is the current Photoshop CC. With the current version, graphic design, web design work, video editing, limited animation, etc. can be done very easily. It would not be a surprise if we see Photoshop in another role in the future with a more sophisticated look in the future that the developers of the ADB company are moving forward with. We all look forward to it and enjoy the benefits we get at the present stage.

"We all love Photoshop"
